Reason for Sharing and Serving

Every one of us is a unique individual. As members of Christ’s Church, however, we confess that we are all one in the “communion of saints,” a diverse group of people united by a common faith and a shared mission. To carry forth the mission of the Church, God has given each one of us special gifts (the Greek word for charisma) and abilities. As members of the Church, it is important for each of us to discern what those gifts are and how we can best use them to serve others and to share the Good News of God’s love to all people. How we exercise our gifts in our daily life is called our vocation (from the Latin meaning “calling”)." - Mark Vitalis Hoffman
